greshi Posted March 12, 2012 Share Posted March 12, 2012 Hi all, I'm having a problem on my daughter's PC when running Tekkit SMP client from the launcher. The problem is that no matter what the Memory allocation is set at in the options of the launcher, upon login Minecraft only seems to be allocated 247MB of memory and crashes regularly. The amount shown in the launcher does change but in game does not. System Info: Vista 32bit 4GB RAM Java 7 32bit (updated today, all other versions uninstalled) On a side note, running vanilla minecraft from a batch file with Xmx1024M and Xms512M switches on the same machine does not produce the same problem, the correct amount of memory is allocated.
