Technic laucher does not load.

Please help!

Whenever I try to load Techic, the launcher boots up with the small window and says "checking launcher version" Then the window just shuts itself and nothing loads.

I have downloaded the Techic launcher twice, I have re booted my computer 3 times.

I have had someone give me all the source files for techic via memory stick.

I have downloaded and updated the 32 and 64 bit java.

I have tried loading it on 2 laptops and still I have the same problem.

Is there any solution to this problem.

Use the .JAR file - sometimes on Windows all the .EXE does is update the launcher. You can find the .JAR by going to

Start -> Run -> %appdata% -> .techniclauncher

I suggest making a desktop shortcut for it.
