Tekkit won't let me log in

Description of Problem:

I recently changed my password for minecraft because I forgot my old one... Now, the technic launcher will not let me login. It says wrong password/login. How do I refresh the technic launcher so it lets me login with my new password? I have tried re-downloading it...

I had that error and retyping my info and restarting the launcher solved it (after a while)

There is a file called Lastlogin or something similar. Delete that and it should be fixed.
