Antivirus Program: first MCAfee, now windows security essentials.
Description of Problem:
i accedentally delete my .techniclauncher folder. no harm, i can just donload thge files again by logging in with my technic launcher. wait. i cant. it says downloading minecraft jar 1- 100%, again, and agan. at the end of the third time, when minecraft.jar should be downloaded, i get a message saying "update failed". so i've been looking for what to do on the forums, and found out that there could be an error with my AV. now i was using mcavee, so i decided to uninstall it and install microsoft security essentials instead. so i did that, but it still isn't working. same messages, every time. i've deleted the .techniclauncher folder and the launcher itself a couple of times, to make it look like there was never any technic stuff on my computer, but after i redownloaded the launcher it still gives me the same message.
