Says update failed when i try to log in

Launcher Version: techin launcher 1.0.2.0

Operating System: mac os 10.7.5

Java Version: version 7 update 9

Antivirus Program: none

Description of Problem:

I can click launcher, choose which mod i want and then it will load all the way up to 99% then it says update failed. idk wtf to do

Read the top most sticky. If that doesn't work, downgrade your Java version to version 6 (There is a great guide for that somewhere on these forums). If that doesn't work, you need to add a log.
