How do I automatically split items in Buildcraft?

When I have items being pumped into machines like furnaces with Buildcraft pipes, the items fill up one furnace before they begin to pump to the other ones. Is it possible to make it so that with one chest, I can have all the furnaces running before any get full?

use pumatic tubes and a transposer take buildcraft pipes out your quarry and pit them in to a chest then put the tramnsposer by the chest put the tubes between the transposer and the furnace and when the hole for the smelting is full items will stop till full again

With a distribution pipe you can make all the items divide between furnaces equally.
