Really bad time...

Well now that techinc had it's REQUIRED "update" to where you need certain specs to play modpacks ive been having really limited modded MC, see now  i can't plat AOTB, or really any of the Offical modpacks, and i honestly think it's just negatives, they say it will stop players whining about preformance issues but it really just tells em "put up or shut up" and really... i have 1.5 GB Ram and i need 2.0 ........ so yea if a pack is laggy for me i know i can't play it but when i know i can from previous experience then that makes me mad... does anyone know how to get AOTB without technic and it still work on servers cuz unless they get rid of this garbage i can't play AOTB

computers today should have more than just 1.5GB of RAM. are you absolutly sure you don't have the wrong java installed or something?

no you can't get AOTB anywhere else, why would someone host a free pack elsewhere?

Well first off my computer isn't from today and im not a complete idiot and it would have told me if I had the wrong java

I have 64 bit. 1.8 java and 1.5 allocated ram,

I just think its stupid to have this, and it just blocks the users from even running the GD modpack! At least make it optional...
