unable to download launcher

Description of Problem:

when i click on the technic launcher on my desk top i get an error message that says "Unable to download launcher. please check your internet connection by opening www.techniclauncher.net in your webbrowser". When i do this that website is not there?

Can anyone help me with this?

Well, if the website is not there, I would imagine you need to check your internet connection. If you are sure that is not it, make sure all of your Antiviruses and firewalls are turned off and try again. Also, a log would be very helpful.

my internet connection is the same Ive been using the Technic launcher on for the last few weeks i don't have any antiviruses or firewalls on and with the website, it has nothing to do with Technic its a domain that has yet to be bought

First, back up your worlds. Then, delete your .techniclauncher, redownload, and restore your backed up saves. Problems solved, probably.

yes thank you the both of you i deleted the .techniclauncher and redownloaded the entire thing and its working now thank you so much also i just saved my worlds to my desktop so where would i place them to be able to jump back into it?

Just pop them back into your worlds folder in the .techniclauncher modpack folder.

that is just MAtmos (a sound mod) that is telling you that it has been updated since the version that is included in the pack. Just ignore that message and it will go away after it shows three times.

That's MAtmos. It means nothing, you can ignore it. I disable MAtmos on principle, as the sounds get really annoying.
