technic opens but minecraft starts

Antivirus Program: avast

Description of Problem:

I log in on technic, it starts fine but it only loads regular minecraft

Error Messages:

no errors

Redownload the pack making sure that you turn off all AV's and Firewalls.

I already did, I just retried again. Any other thoughts?

after re installing it 4 times I decided to try to reload an earlier version, that didn't help so when it asked if I wanted to load the newest version I accepted and it worked. No idea why, it made a difference but it did. Thanks for your help
