When I try to launch the dev. build of technic I get an error screen

Launcher Version: 7.3.4

Operating System: Mac OSX 10.6.8 Processor 3.06 GHz Intel Core i3 Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Java Version: 1.6.0

Antivirus Program:

Description of Problem:

When I have selected the development build of technic, the launcher opens a white screen (indicating the game is about to launch) when an error appears saying Minecraft failed to start, errors reported in log. After clicking OK it goes back to the launcher.

Are you sure that isn't talking about your Java? Either way make sure the bits match up.

I would guess it is because it is right under the OS Version but IDK. just wait for the OP to reply I guess

When it launches it brings up a little window for a second that says "Hello" in the title bar and then I get the same error message (Minecraft failed to start, errors reported in log) and when i hit ok it goes back to the launcher...

You really should post your own bug report, by doing so, you give us important info that we need to help solve your problem.

Np, the reason we want you to post your own report is because there are often subtle differences in the issue that can mean a different solution is required. It also makes sure the OP gets help in his thread instead of others jacking his topic.

I have a feeling it may be to do with the lack of the latest java. My laptop runs it fine but I guess the mac needs an update to Snow Leopard to get the latest Java. I guess at some point I'm going to have to pay to upgrade :(

Actually Red, on macs the launcher only runs with Java 6. Upgrading to java 7 is probably the most common error for Mac users that I have seen.

This is really bizarre. I've tried running it on every computer in the house and it has only run on my laptop. I have no idea why that cab run it and nothing else can
