Antivirus Program: Trend Micro antivirus and Mcaffee Security (Neither of these are active, both are expired)
Description of Problem:
I've installed, deleted, reinstalled, and deleted again everything that has to do with Java or technic launcher several times. I always get the same result- I open Technic Launcher, get that annoying-ass Splash Screen (Why? Why do we need that?) and after 15 minutes (Time is not the issue. I once ran it all night, nothing.) I end up having to pull up task manager and nuking my Java to get the splash screen off. (Again, why? I know what I'm starting, please let me minimize you)

Operating System: 64 bit OS, Windows 7 HP
Java Version: Java 7, update 9
