Can't load any other mods than just technic or tekkit.

Description of Problem:

I can only play technic or tekkit, and iv grown tired of them for a bit and wanted to try something new, But every time i try a diffrent mod, I get the same warning pop-up "Update failed".....Wat do?

Hello, i've just recently signed up with the forums. I've recieved the same sort of problem, but I own 2 computers, 1 desktop and 1 laptop. The desktop successfully updated all of the mods in the mod list, but my laptop is unable to do so. Would this problem relate to this since I've had my account logged in on both computers?
