CANT PLACE ITEMS FROM INVENTORY INTO CHESTS OR MACHINES

I have had this problem since I installed tekkit. I tried to place items from the action bar or from my inventory and i dumps them straight on the floor, I cannot drag them into chests or machines or ANYTHING for that matter. The only way I found to solve this is to quit and restart the client, I have had this in singleplayer and on a LAN server

Try disabling ConvenientInventory and/or InventoryTweaks (CI annoys the hell out of me because you can't disable it).
