Update Failed when downloading Technic

Description of Problem:

Technic crashes with "Update failed!" right when finishing downloading Minecraft.jar. Others are suffering from the same issue, and it's making Technic literally unplayable.

I believe this is caused by Minecraft now being 1.4.4, but no proper downgrade patcher being present.
