Recently there had been an issue where players would get disconnected with a "internal exception java.net.socketexception read timed out" error. The server will still respond to console commands, and list the players that were connected, but all players are disconnected, and their clients can't connect to the server. There is no error output from the server, just the timeout message that the clients get. This problem persists until the server is restarted.
I updated to the newest Tekkit version hoping this would fix it, and instead it made it worse. Now, when the first player connects, they fall in the void, and the server becomes unreachable (and they time out with the same error as before).
This seems to have something to do with the specific world, because if I generate a new world, things work normally.
