why am i taking random damage?

Description of Problem:

i am walking around my house and i just randomly start taking damage. i dont have my nulcear reactor running at all and i dont ever die from this damage. can someone please help me as it is very annoying. (sorry if this is in the wrong place)

And is it still happening? Was there a skeleton shooting you from far away? Are there other people playing on your server?

EDIT: the damage only takes place in a 11*14*9 area going from lvl 96 to lvl 103 if that has any relevence

there are no mobs there what so ever and there are others there too

i figured it out we found the incinerator was doing it. everytime it destroyed something it would damage us
