Zermiah Posted December 9, 2012 Share Posted December 9, 2012 I can't join my friend's server running the newest Tekkit as I am "missing mods", I reinstalled Tekkit but still can't seem to be able to join. Anyone had this problem? EDIT: Apparently 3.1.3 is a dev build. I changed it to it, but why is the server download a developer build? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Torezu Posted December 10, 2012 Share Posted December 10, 2012 The now currently available server download is a build of the server. It's not a "dev" or "recommended" build because the server doesn't work that way. The client build is still "dev" and not yet "Recommended" because it takes time for servers to adapt and test new builds, and the admin staff here doesn't like to drop updates on server owners like that.
