won't authenticate account

Launcher Version: 1.0.2.0

Operating System: Mac OS 10.7.5.0

Java Version: version 7 update 9

Antivirus Program: none

Description of Problem:

I run the Technic Launcher (which only runs the first time, then I have to delete it, reuse the zip file, then launch the new launcher.) click the update button, where it updates extremely fast, put in my log in information, correctly, and it tells me that it couldn't authenticate. I just downloaded the mac version today off this site.

Unable to authenticate account with minecraft.net

Do you have a premium Minecraft account? I've also heard of people having problems with migrated Mojang accounts, in which case you will need to delete the last login file.

Had this many times before myself. The thing that always worked for me (not for everyone, a few friends of my had he same problem and it didn't work for them) is or clearing cache in your options menu. Or delete your .techniclauncher folder and reinstall your mod pack.

Also, if you've migrated your account, use the email and password for your mojang account.
