Cannot join world on a different 3.1.3 server

Hello,

I've seen similar posts to this but was hoping someone could help me make sense of what's going on. I wanted to move our Tekkit world (created in 3.1.3) to a new server however I'm unable to join the world. On the new server I'm able to join a new world without an issue, but just cannot join the world I want to use on the new server. I've uploaded the world files (world, world_nether, world_the_end) several times and have the same result. I've since wiped out everything on the new server directory and uploaded the exact contents from the current server, modifying the server.properties file afterwards to account for the new IP/port - same problem. I basically get an end of stream error at first then afterwards the server is marked as unavailable on my server list.

I am still running the same world locally just fine. The server log errors were the following:

Searching the forums this is possibly fixed by either deleting certain BuildCraft blocks via MCEdit or modifying one of the mod zip files. I'll try these solutions later but I am wondering, using the same exact server/world files, why would I be getting errors on the new server and not the original?
