Launcher Version: Tekkit 3.1.3

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.7.5 (Lion)

Java Version: Java Version 6 Update 37

Antivirus Program: N/A

Description of Problem:

Whenever I try to log into Technic (or any other modpack) it comes up with an error saying "Unable to authenticate account with minecraft.net".

I have a premium minecraft account and I can log into normal minecraft and my friends are even on a server together as I type this.

This still hasn't been fixed and it's starting to get annoying now. It's been a week.

Sorry to be 'annoying' but this really should be fixed by now.

If you are on a mac, AFAIK (this could have changed recently) the launcher only works with Java 6. As for how, there are some guides around here just use the search bar.

ON mac downgrading java means you need reinstall the whole OS
