Password/Email not Working

So I was going to have some fun playing on the mod-packs but when I tried to log in it said it was invalid! I kept on using other passwords and such but it always said invalid. I went to another site that stores my passwords and emails for website and I typed that password and email in too but it STILL didn't work! I'm sorry if I'm missing something, but I've been trying a LONG time and it hasn't worked. Please help me to be able to have fun and play the mod-packs!

You are using the credentials for your Mojang Account, right?
