ShaneZiggity Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 (edited) Any time I try to launch a modpack, the launcher disappears and then reappears a few seconds later. I've tried both Attack of the B Team and Tekkit Classic. I'm using Windows 10, java 1.8.0_25 and have 3 GB of ram allocated. I tried going back to the latest version of java (1.8.0_101) and still nothing changed. I ran clearJavaEnvVars.bat as recommended on other posts, to no avail. Ktaww Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Quote Same problem for me. Only thing that will launch is Vanilla. 10gb of ram allocated no virus programs.

Do both of you have an NVIDIA card? The recent drivers update broke all minecraft versions except for 1.11 (aka vanilla). Downgrade your drivers to before version 378.49 to fix your issues! ShaneZiggity Posted January 27, 2017 Author Posted January 27, 2017 Thanks! That solved my problem. I downloaded the update from 1/14/17 on Nvidia's website and it worked perfectly.
CTrickle4300 Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 I am having this same problem as well. Every time I go to launch a mod-pack, the launcher disappears and reappears like nothing happened. I currently have the latest version of Java. I tried installing the Nvidia's driver downgrade to usually fix this issue, but my computer does not contain a Nvidia graphics card. On launch of a mod-pack, I am brought with a "B#349] SLF4J: Failed to load class "org.slf4j.impl.StaticLoggerBinder" error message and results back to the launcher menu. Here is the crash report https://pastebin.com/kLXYAp5K Here is the console log https://pastebin.com/HvzvhdqM Thanks for the help!
iiBeara Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 I'm having the same problem but i'm confused on how to fix it still...
