Technic Launcher does not want to start modpacks

Question

Posted

After I solved the problem with the driver from the video card to Minecraft, I ran into another problem, namely: Technic Launcher does not Want To start modpacks. I open the launcher and press play on any ModPack, launcher opens it and then close it immediately. I have java installed 64-bit, and we increased memory 5 but still has trouble ...

Log: http://paste.ubuntu.com/24132105/

Ranks : 20-23 Are red in log

Can I fix this ? Thx for atention :3:

Yeah, you can fix this by not looking at that stupid literal red herring there. Your actual issue is Java_Options, which limits any java process to (in your case) 256 MB. It does not matter how much you try to allocate, this is just a hard cap and will override anything you do.

You can easily fix this issue by running this: http://tk.iamtrue.net/clearJavaEnvVars.bat

Note: No confirmation or anything, just start the launcher again and try playing (and move RAM allocation back to 4 GB while you are at it).

Go to the ``search programs and files `` type system -> Advanced system settings -> Enviroment Variables find ``Xmx -nr- `` and delete this , after press ok and run tekkit.

Thx @JaariAtmc for your solution :D
