Description of Problem:

I cannot log on to my server I made. Every time I try it it pastes this message: THIS SERVER REQUIRES YOU TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING MODS

I have played single player and all those mods are there.

Your server is probably 3.1.3, but you are probably running the 3.1.2 client. open the launcher, click options, click clear cache, click manual build and select the correct version of the tekkit client from the drop down menu. It needs to be the same version as your server.

Do my friends have to do this too?

Yep. Everyone on the server needs the same version of Tekkit as the server. You could downgrade to Tekkit 3.1.2 on the server to avoid this, and it would be a lot more stable.

How exactly would I downgrade it to 3.1.2?

Just download the 3.1.2 server from Previous Versions in the Server Tab here:

On to the server? Probably not any time soon, since I can't get on to Minecraft today and when I do get on, it's usually my friend's private server.

I'm happy to help with any other problems you hit though, so just post if you get one. You don't need access to a computer to have access to these forums :)
