Fail to load modpack

I have installed a modpack 100% fine, but as i click play, it will do the proper loading at the bottom of the launcher until it says "Checking for Minecraft Assets". The check will reach 100% and imminently go to "installing Minecraft Assets" but it is there for a split second and doesn't go above 0%. After the installing assets leaves, the game doesn't launch or anything, it just goes straight back to the Technic launcher

This is your modpack? Otherwise, someone incorrectly configured their solder.

no, it is not mine, and it's a pretty well used modpack with 2.1k installs and 6.5k runs. so i don't think it is exactly the modpack's fault
