Can't update.

Launcher Version: ANY.

Operating System: Windows

Java Version: Latest version

Antivirus Program: MCafee, but it didn't work without (virtual PC) either.

Description of Problem:

As soon you install tekkit for the first time, or just need to update your Tekkit, the launcher spams you with messages 'Update Failed!' that happen at 99% of when you download the tekkit jar file. This happens at ANY version you try at.

I believe this is happening because minecraft just launched 1.4.6 and they screwed up tekkit somehow. It is messing with mine also

Solution:

Minecraft 1.4.6 has just been updated so it may have caused problems with the launcher. Please give the Technic team time to patch this.

I got it to work just use MVC and take it down to 1.4.4 (This is how solved it until tekkit is fixed)
