it install minecraft but not the mods

hey guys 

if been making a modpack and when i installed it was only vanilla minecraft without the whole mods.

i have just no idee please help me.

Wow, this is a rare occasion. Can't find a single mod which has been downloaded from shady sites!

Your issues (yes, you have two different issues, both easy to fix) are actually quite simple, and they happen pretty often.

1. You zipped the folder containing the required folders. You should zip the required folders directly. (current situation: zipfolder -> modpack folder -> required folders.| needed situation: zipmodpackfolder -> required folders).

2. The bin folder contains the modpack jar named "modpack.jar". Name it "modpack" instead. (it is currently actually named modpack.jar.jar. Stupid hidden file extensions are to blame.)
