Height Range of Breeder, Mob Grinder, Rancher

Hello Everyone,

So I know that the Breeder, Rancher, and Mob Grinder (MFR) work on entities within a 5 x 5 area in front of them. But what is the height restriction to this?

For example, if I have a 5 x 5 space filled with cows, what height should I place the breeder at? Does it have to be at the cow's foot or head level?

 

Any Idea , Suggestions would be appreciated,

The normal height is "at their feet". Grinders may work at head level as well. Just use the rule of thumb "does it touch the animal/mob?".
