Problem with tekkit server can some 1 help

I have java 7 installed.

Running on Win XP i know i'm a bit out of date but it worked before.

The problem is i got tekkit server from the site i unrared it into a folder.

The next thing i did is try to run the jar file. Usualy it would extract some files into that folder.

But with me i double click it and nothing happens. Then i launch the bat file and this is what i get:

C:\Documents and Settings\T\Bureaublad\minecraft 2012 release\Tekkit_Server_3.1.

Delete everything and re-download 3.1.2 from the site. Seems like you either have a corrupt mod, or Tekkit is failing to display something to the command prompt window.

Have done that also. Same thing stays. and also downgraded java and now have the latest so the i've tried the basic stuff already

Redownload resinstall updates. Any other suggestions. Cause i think it has something to do with the .jar file in the folder or java itself.

Because i can run minecraft correctly that's not a problem and the basic server from minecraft running is alsno not a problem the only problem is i cant seem to run the tekkit server.

oke i got my problem fixed. Stupid me i forgot to install Visual C++. But thanks anyways guys
