I bought minecraft on the Microsoft store and I cant download mods because it says i dont have it on my accoutn

I bought minecraft of the microsoft store for windows 10 and tried to download mods but i cant because on my mojang account it says I dont have a copy of minecraft?

Because the Windows 10 version is not the Java version, and technic launcher/modpacks/mods are only for the java version.
