Custom 1.12 modpack boots as vanilla

Of the bat, please excuse this, as I'm a newf*g  on the Technic platform (and by extension the forums), hence I don't know how to find old threads on a similar subject other than googling them.

As in title, I have created (compiled?) a modpack for 1.12 (mostly for personal use) zipped it and uploaded it to dropbox, copied the link (changing the 0 at the end to a 1) and put that as my modpack location, saved changes and tried to download it through my client. Downloads successfully, but when I click play, I'm booted into the vanilla loading screen (animation?), with only one loading bar (i.e. not the forge one). After this I'm basically playing the vanilla version of the game.

List of mods:

Baubles, Bewitchment, Biomes o' plenty, Chisel, iChunUtil, Just enough items, llibrary, Mantle, OpenBlock, OpenMod, Optifine, Patchouli, Project E, Sync, TConstruct, What are we looking at?

Link to dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vlolfm4r5t9lcq1/Dreth'sLightPackV5.zip?dl=1

Attempted fix 1: downloading from own Dropbox, unzipping, deleting forge, adding in a freshly downloaded copy, zipping, re-upploading

-no effect

Any help on how to resolve the issue would be great.

please send help,

thanks in advance

I have followed your advice but have still had issues, with game refusing to start. I've been trying to fine relevant forum posts/guides. I don't want to hijack my own thread so for the time being I'll continue looking.

Thank you so much for what you were able to help with.

So, what's your issue? You can upload your log to a site like pastebin or ubuntu pastebin (second one for larger logs).
