Matyi10012 Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 Howdy, I played vanilla minecraft for quite a while with my friend, where we built a world. We tought we would try out hexxit, because it seems pretty cool, but we ran into some difficulties when it comes to setting up the server. So basically from the vanilla server, I saved down our world. The server got converted into hexxit which works fine. I uploaded our world, and added it into the config to load which happens. However if I teleport to our village where our buildings should be, there's nothing. The ground does not even have the same layout. I'm very confused how the world is loaded, yet our buildings and stuff not there. Thanks for the help
JaariAtmc Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 What version of vanilla minecraft did you play?
Matyi10012 Posted September 5, 2019 Author Posted September 5, 2019 We started it on 1.14.3 , then it got moved to 1.14.4

JaariAtmc Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 Not. Too much has changed. You could potentially use a 1.5.2 world on a 1.14.4 server, but not the other way around. There's no backwards compatibility for older versions of minecraft.
