TechnicLauncher doesn't exist apparently

So I've used technic for awhile but recently the launcher can't be found, even if I search for it only the .technic file appears. The only way I've been able to open the launcher is if I redownload the launcher and the launcher opens without downloading anything and I can play but the launcher app disappears when I close it. My first thought was to pin the launcher to start or taskbar but that doesn't even pop up as an option and this really confuses me as I haven't had any errors pop up. (I do have show hidden files activated)

The launcher itself works fine when I can get it open but it's really hard to find .

it seems that the file you download is actually not only an installer, but also the runtime itself.

you could create a new folder in C:/Program Files/anyname and put the launcher in it, then right click and "Send to Desktop", or put the Launcher directly on the desktop.
