White screen when I hit play

Every time I click "play" the window for the game will appear in my task bar but if I click on it nothing opens. If I hover over window icon, the window preview is a white screen. I have gone into the logs and compared my situation to my friends, whose game is working, and ours seem to be the exact same. I've re-downloaded the launcher, mod pack, and java and I have restarted my computer multiple times.
