Modpack crashing and reopening Technic launcher whenever I try and play it

Whenever I try and open my modpack in Technic it starts loading and the launcher closes, but about 20 seconds later the launcher simply reopens.

The version of DynamicSurroundings you are using requires a newer version of Forge than you are using per the Changelog on Curseforge: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/dynamic-surroundings/files/2825354

I updated forge and then removed the mod for good measure and it works. Thank you.
