Error with Technic Launcher on Debian 10

Hi,

I've been trying to launch the Technic Launcher for a while now, but I can't get it to work. Whenever I use

java -jar Technic\ \(1\).jar

I keep getting this:

Settings for exe: /path/to/the/file/Technic Launcher (1).jar
Portable settings dir: /path/to/file/technic
Setting up logging

And nothing happens. Any idea of why?

I'm experiencing the same problem on my Debian 10 machine.

The Technic Launcher Logo pops up but nothing happens.

 

Debian 10, 4.19.0 Kernel

KDE Plasma 5.14
