thespringyear Posted July 23, 2020 Posted July 23, 2020 Hey everyone! I hope i picked the right place for this question, but I'm stumped. I play the After Humans modpack, and everything was working well. Now, whenever I click on "play", the modpack launches, but before I can see anything except the icon in my taskbar, it crashes again. Maybe the problem is because i updated Java at some point, but since then, I've deleted all my java versions and reinstalled it, and the problem stays. I'm using Java 1.8.0, the 64bit version, I have 6GB RAM allocated to the launcher, have de-installed and re-installed the launcher, the pack itself and java, and still the same problem. It feels like it came out of nowhere, does anyone have any idea what could be happening there? The beginning of the error code is: Process: java [54135] Path: /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin/Contents/Home/bin/java Identifier: net.java.openjdk.cmd Version: 1.0 (1.0) Code Type: X86-64 (Native) Parent Process: java [53807] Responsible: java [54135] User ID: 501 Date/Time: 2020-07-23 19:38:51.097 +0200 OS Version: Mac OS X 10.14.6 (18G103) Report Version: 12 Anonymous UUID: 7B3EDF91-44EA-A26E-D731-05ABCE44440C Sleep/Wake UUID: 776B2EC6-E45C-457A-A8AA-448CA2E9F400 Time Awake Since Boot: 49000 seconds Time Since Wake: 2600 seconds System Integrity Protection: enabled Crashed Thread: 2 Java: Client thread Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGABRT) Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x000000000000000c Exception Note: EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFY VM Regions Near 0xc: --> __TEXT 000000010ca54000-000000010ca63000 [ 60K] r-x/rwx SM=COW /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin/Contents/Home/bin/java Application Specific Information: *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInternalInconsistencyException', reason: 'NSWindow drag regions should only be invalidated on the Main Thread!' terminating with uncaught exception of type NSException abort() called in order not to spam too much, i'll attach the full thing as a text file, in case someone wants to look at it. Again, any idea of what I could try helps! Thanks in advance :) modpackcrashreport.odt
JaariAtmc Posted July 23, 2020 Posted July 23, 2020 This appears to be an issue with java 8u261. Downgrade back to 8u251. Yes, I know that's a pain to do. thespringyear 1
