ManLikeZing Posted September 5, 2020 Share Posted September 5, 2020 (edited) I've been spending hours now just trying to get my modpack to work with the Technic launcher but it will not work no matter what. It works just fine using the Minecraft client as well as using MultiMC but as soon as I use the Technic launcher to download it and run it, it just runs vanilla Minecraft. I have "modpack.jar" in the bin folder, with the correct version of Forge. Why is the Technic launcher messing up the modpack? Why won't it just load forge? TerdyTheTerd Posted September 5, 2020 Share Posted September 5, 2020 Based on the limited information you provided, I am assuming you are using forge 2854 for MC 1.12.2. If this is the case, you have to rename the installer to modpack.jar not the universal like you would with previous versions. There are dozens of similar threads with this exact issue, did you bother checking the forums before checking? Might have saved you some time.
