Game crashes, after solving first problem, another came up

Hi,

I've been having a problem with technic launcher on my niece's computer, on which I had installed it.
I encountered a lot of problems

Firstly, there was different error, after hours of trying everything what I could find (updating drivers, clearing PATH in enviroment for java and reinstalling it), I found a fix on reddit:
to change

 B:allowUpdateCheck=true

in .technic\modpacks\tekkitmain\config\bspkrsCore.cfg to false

This resulted in game opening and working, but when I created and opened a world, I couldn't see anything (possibly optifine draw distance setting, didn't check), I tried to reset the game, and new error appeared, resulting in game not opening again.

I can post the logs from previous error, before changing the .cfg if needed.

Okay, I will try it tomorrow, but the question is, on my PC, it works fine with the newest JAVA version, what is the problem?

Its a combination of Windows 10, an older cpu without dedicated gpu, and java above 8u251. It's a bit messy. There's a reason that the Mojang launcher uses java 8u51 by default.
