tekkit needs computercraft,ccturtle,railcraft,ic2

Description of Problem:

when i try to get onto the server i just started with tekkit it tells me i need ic2, coputercraft, ccturtle, railcraft but im starting with the tekkit pack on the tekkit launcher

You have the wrong version of Tekkit, it would appear.

Try asking the people who run or play on the server which version of Tekkit they are running.

Once you have that, go into options in the launcher and select the right version.

You should be able to join then.

its my server i downloaded both from the homepage

Same advice goes. Check your server to see which version you are running, and up- or downgrade in the launcher.

If it's the exact same version, I'm afraid I must bow out and let somebody more knowledgeable step it. But go and check first.
