Description of Problem:

Trying to log in via the Technic Launcher gives the error "Unable to Authenticate Account with Minecraft.net" I'm able to log in to regular minecraft and the server status page at Mojang says there aren't any problems on their end.

That file mismatch, /launcher/tekkit/modpack.yml failed to authenticate. Then it redownloaded the Minecraft mirror file from the looks of it... i might just try saving your world files and reinstalling the launcher. Looks like something got misplaced somewhere...

Done this multiple times, problem still persists.

It seems that most other people running Java 7 are having the exact same issue at the exact same point... See if you can use time machine to revert to before you did the update from 6 to 7. does this with me, just try using your email address instead of your username to log in. This is if you have your email associated with your account. I have to log in with my email address(email address signed up to mojang) and if i try logging in with my minecraft username it comes up with the same error as you.

...Did you at least try using your e-mail? When you migrate your account you need to use your e-mail.

This is indeed the most common reason and solution for this issue on macs (and only macs)

I did read that entire post. the reason I asked was because the impression I got from your post was that you were confused as to what username you should use. Also, seeing as this is not your topic, you really don't have a right to ask/get help. If your issue is similar to the OP's and someone help him and that solution might work for you, but you don't get to barge into someone else's thread and get mad that people aren't helping you. Seeing as the OP's issue is most likely his Java version, you have a very different issue.

no heres the issue for some reason macs wont let you log into anything with the technic launcher if you've migrated your account. and to you thinking i was confused. heres part of it "don't say i should use my email because it started like a week after i migrated." or in other words i tried that already. and sorry for barging in but you dont have to get pissed off at me about it. i just figured it was better to post on a thread with a similar problem to mine then make a completly new thread for no reason at all.
