Eirriuvan Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 As just about everybody knows, Mojang has shifted to Microsoft for account verification. They have also released a launcher for Windows 10. Unfortunately, While the Technic Forums have a lot of great information, I can't seem to find what I am looking for. My issue appears to be as follows... After upgrading to Windows 10, nothing minecraft would run on my system. (likely a mix of old system and Win10) I have managed to load/install the Win10 Launcher from the Microsoft store (Yeaaa! It works) What I can't find are directions on how to allow Technic to use the 'new' version of Minecraft. Needless to say, when the Technic launcher manages to run (30-45% of the time), it cant run any mods. I have deleted/uninstalled the Technic launcher, and re-installed it. The problem remains. I am hoping the answer to this post will become a easy to find instalition guide for Windows 10 users.
JaariAtmc Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 You are the first here to mention ANY issues running the launcher due to windows 10, EXCEPT if you are using a very old Intel chip (which has issues with java being over version 8u51, or if its even older, just plain incompatible with minecraft).
