Ram/Java error

Whenever I try to run the suggest mods on the modpack page on the launcher, a box comes up saying that it can't run because I'm only using 1 ram instead of two, and then it says that it can't tell if I'm running a 32-bit or 64-bit of Java. I have the latest download of Java (installed the latest version as soon as I got this error), and I completely reset my computer a while ago and have barely downloaded anything. An immediate solution would be greatly appreciated

If you use the regular download for Java, regardless of it being latest or not, it WILL be the 32-bit version, meaning you can only use 1 GB max. Assuming windows: Download the Offline version, the one that says 64-bit. https://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
