Files Wont Install for Mods

I know I already put a topic up earlier,which had all my problems listed,Ive dealt with all of them but this one.

When installing the files from Techic pack It goes to a random percentage,stops then says failed download. I have pretty good internet and ive been looking up how to fix it for awhile. Someone please help me get this working

At what stage is it failing? Is it not downloading the .jar fully? Or is it not downloading minecraft and the mods themselves?

It wont even install the files from Minecraft.net. So yes it wont install the .jar

Huh. Try downloading the Mac version(Which is not specific to the mac, it is just the .jar rather then the .exe.) Run the.jar through java and it should pop open the technic launcher.

Oh sorry, I think I should of specified more. The Launcher works fine. When I put my password and Username in and pick technic. Then it starts to download the minecraft files. But it stops and random percentages every time well downloading these files.

Weird. So it just stops? No explanation or log or anything? Is the loader freezing; or is the download just stalling, but you can close the program just fine?

It stops,stays like that for a few seconds,then says download failed on the blue instillation bar. There is no log,and I can close the program fine

Huh. That moves it officially beyond my area of expertise. I'm sorry, but I don't know. The best I can give you is to try from a clean slate. Delete everything in the appdata/roaming/.techniclauncher folder and try again.

I'm having the same exact problem. The launcher opens but the minecraft.jar will not download.

I have tried:

deleting the .minecraft file and the .techniclauncher file.

updating java 7.

redownloading the launcher.

But still when I hit Login on the technic launcher it will start downloading then stop at a seemingly random point.

More information! It looks like this problem might have something to do with your internet crapping out on you mid install. There have been a couple people who powered through it by just attempting a bunch of times and getting lucky. I can't really call that a solution though, as it sounds like an exercise in frustration. Sorry.

The logs that I was asking about earlier would have been in \AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher\logs (Look for launcher_0. It is the most recent.)

Oh, and I am not on the technic team; just someone trying to be helpful by taking some of the basic troubleshooting load so the ones actually on the team can fix any real bugs that come up.
