So I'm a total noob at this stuff, but I just got a fresh Ubuntu Server and my first problem is installing java on it god I feel dumb. Even if I get that I don't know how to run the actual server from my Laptop. Any help would be nice One thing I did manage to do was set up WinSCP and get all the files from the download onto the server.

Eloram, the maker of redpower, has said explicitly many many times that Volcanoes (and the giant rubber trees) will not be turn-off-able. Though you still could remove the entire environment part of the mod.

So I set up the infinite ice generator, I couldn't get the compressor to compress snow so I used a duplicator, But my problem now is that the pipes, both BC and RP2 wont put things into the reactor chamber. Anyone know how to fix that?

So if you had a Nuclear Reactor with ice in it. The wiki says "Each reactor tick, if a reactor's hull has more than 300 heat, it will evaporate 1 ice block, reducing the heat level by 300." Now my question is that could you use pipes, either BC or RP2, in order to keep a constant supply of ice? (assuming you do not run out of ice) EDIT: Or a water bucket instead of ice?

Optifine Should do all this for you just put the pack in the proper texture pack folder.

^Awesome^ & When I loaded the map the ?fences? around the spawn area were invisible, I could hit them and stand on them but they were invisible. Just thought I would report it.

Repeatedly re-logging seems to work for me as well, albeit slowly. Though it seems to stop after a mod or two is downloaded.

Deleted the .techniclauncher file. Ran the launcher as an admin. Same problem, here is log file http://pastebin.com/K1Aj8N4c

BUMP I'm having the same exact problem. The launcher opens but the minecraft.jar will not download. I have tried: deleting the .minecraft file and the .techniclauncher file. updating java 7. redownloading the launcher. But still when I hit Login on the technic launcher it will start downloading then stop at a seemingly random point.
