Using tekkit lite with bukkit?

I've tried by downloading bukkit and renaming tekkitlite.jar, but bukkit just crash most of the times when i launch the server.

Anyone knows if it will work at all to use bukkit with tekkit lite?

I think tekkit lite runs bukkit as default.. Mabye, i'm not entirely shure..

Alright, thanks. I have no problem with using cmd, but bukkit makes managing the server a lot easier.

At a quick look at Tekkit Lite I saw that WorldEdit, Essentials, WorldBoarder ... is integrated as plugin for Modloader by default. Bukkit seems to be legacy ... :)

Yeah.. These plugins are by forge, they work without bukkit apparently.

(These plugins = the ones in the server download)

There's no things like iConomy, but you've got the standards for a safe server..

I've never used the GUI for bukkit... What exactly does it show? Maybe I have a replacement.

Oh wow... This one isn't as good, but right click the launch.bat, press edit and remove the part that says 'nogui'. This gets you a gui when you launch, it's not as good though.

so i can do /setspawn and it will set it for it doesn't have that command

Setspawn should work, if you want to set a home it's /home here

well i saw there was also world edit and if there isn't and i have to put it in mods section where the download for world edit 1.4.6

anyone figure out the permissions? I can add people to groups via the config files, but commands don't work.... also no reference to which commands are available for the permissions.

For permissions use bukkit plugin PEX:

For running bukkit plugins under tekkit lite:

You download tekkit lite server 0.6.5 from the offical site, and unzip it.

Then download this: http://ci.md-5.net/job/MCPC-Plus-Legacy/ called mcpc-plus-legacy-1.4.7-R1.1-SNAPSHOT-f534-L21.jar

You place this into the directory of the tekkit lite server, renamed as TekkitLite.jar into the place of the original.

Then just make a /plugins directory as usual, placing the plugins inside.
