samuil900 Posted January 5, 2013 Share Posted January 5, 2013 Hey. I just got back from a vacation in Mexico without internet or comunication to the outside Minecraft/Tekkit world. Before I went all I knew about was the standard default Tekkit. Now I have come back and I see it has been replaced with Tekkit Classic and Tekkit Lite. theprolo Posted January 5, 2013 Share Posted January 5, 2013 Tekkit Classic is still in Minecraft 1.2.5, but has Bukkit and a few less mods. Tekkit Lite has no Bukkit, but is Minecraft 1.4.6 and a few more mods. The idea is that smaller servers can still play on MC 1.4.6, but of course larger, more plugin-dependent servers will have to stick with classic until ForgeBukkit updates, along with all the ports. Lite does include some server-controlling functions, such as a protection system, but it's not as varied and expansive as the Bukkit plugins.
