Tekkit Spleef server?

I am wondering if it would be a good idea to create a Tekkit spleef server with guns and other Tekkit items. Would it be better to use Tekkit Lite for this? I currently own the pvp Tekkit server zeus-craft and I think this would be a good idea for another server. What do you think?

Tekkit lite would probably be a better idea, as tekkit isn't going to be updated (for a while at least, as it stands). All you'd have to do is make a map and reset the map at the end of every match. Seeing as tekkit lite doesn't run bukkit, though, this *could* be a bit of a problem. Anyway, your choice.

I do not think that this a good idea, rather create a Bukkit or Vanilla server and install the specific mods to your choice. That way, you do not have to worry about all kinds of unneeded mods.
