Server doesn't start after power outage (physical server crash) [SOLVED]

I deleted RedstoneEther content inside the folder

~\tekkitlite\world\RedstoneEther\


Server running fine again. can a dev confirm this happend because of a physical server crash ? (I could not properly save the world).

 

@DEVS : whats inside that folder ? I fail to read thoses .dat's with anything (NBTexplorer/HEX/...) and all Wireless redstone components are still fine in the server after deleting the content of that folder... (so whats in that folder ?)

Description of Problem:

Server can't get running. We had a power outage at home and server went down with it.

my guess it could not save/finish the map correctly (could be wrong)

If you know how to fix this let me know ! (from what i'm seeing its wireless redstone, ill try to remove them in MCedit)

This may not be the answer to your issue, but I find it coincidental. Is your server running any kind of software RAID?

I have one server running on 2003 R2 x64. For example if I use the software raid built into windows using RAID 1, and the power goes out, I run into corruption after windows rebuilds the array. I have to break the mirror array, run scandisk on both disks, then re-establish the mirror. I have not found this to be the case with hardware HBA's yet.

I'm not running any RAID setup what so ever (I should tho) this server is a basic desktop which I call "server"

I do have rack servers but I didn't had the time yet to get MC running on those linux servers.

its a cheap (500-700€) desktop doing its job quite good so far :)
