Rails not working?

Running tekkit 1.1.4 , vanilla rails aren't craftable (as expected) but none of the railcraft formulas seem to be working either. I've tried quite a few and especially the rolling machine - with no luck.

Can anyone confirm is Railcraft supposed to be working in 1.1.4, and if so are the recipes from the Railcraft wiki correct for within Tekkit? (I'd check the wiki but it seems to be offline)

I just discovered that if you go to the railcraft wiki page for each of the items you want to make that require, for example, rebar, there are alternate recipes for us folks who don't have the newest version installed. So no Rolling Machines are required. It took a bit of digging to figure that out, though.

I wrote too soon...the railbeds are craftable, but the rails themselves aren't craftable on a standard crafting table, despite what the railcraft wiki says.

We are running the most recent 1.1.4 version.

He means that you need Cresote oil (you get that from the coke oven) to make wooden rail ties.

first off you make 26 bricks. Then you make a coke oven (a square off bricks 3x3 without the middleblock). You will know the Oven is complete when the window appears in the middle block on the sides. Then you put coal in the oven and then it takes 3 minutes to complete. When you have the oil you go to you craftingtable and do this:

But how do I build a rolling machine? I need the rolling machine to make rails and the only recipe I can find for the rolling machine doesn't work.

I can not make powered tracks with the new railcraft recipes nor can i make a rolling machine
